PONMUDI   Ponmudi is a hill station located in the outskirts of Trivandrum. It is located at a distance of 60km from Trivandrum. POWER GENERATION FROM GYM MACHINE In this project we are going to generate power from convention cable and pulley machines in the gym.Here we are welding a rack gear to the bottom of the weight holderand a pinion is fitted to the shaft as shown in the figure.when the weight is pulled the rack moves vertically and this motion is converted to rotary by pinion.The rotating motion of the shaft is transferd to  another shaft using chain and sprocket arrangement and this torque is used to generate power inthe generator This generated power can be stored in a battery which can be used to charge an invertor.Thus the energy wasted during exercises are conveted to electrical power that can be utilized to fight power scarcity.

GB-25 BUNGLAW BONACAUD GB-25 is a haunted bunglaw situated in the outskirts of bonacaud tea estate.It is sitatuated afew kilometers from vithura.GB-25 is refered to as one of the haunted places in kerala because it is an abandoned bunglaw situated in the outskirts of the estate.Sparsely populated estate and overgrown tea plant makes it look as haunted.Many riders had made misconcept about the bunglaw as it is ghost bunglaw.On my last visit i asked the natives whether the ghost is real or not.They responded by laughing and said there is no ghost here ,these are wrong stories put up by Bike riders who had visited this place.    (GB-25 bunglaw,Bonacaud) (An overgrown pine tree in front of the bunglaw) This pine tree can be seen from the bonacaud village.This bunglaw got the name of ghost bunglaw even though there is no ghost.

Rani Lakshmi Bai of Jhansi is one of the leading figures of the First War of Indian Independence (1857), and is a symbol of the resistance to British rule in India.  She has gone down in Indian history as a legendary figure, a firebrand who began the Indian Revolution against British colonialism. She was born to a Maharashtrian family at Kashi (now Varanasi) in 1835. At a tender age of four, she lost her mother. Her father raised her in an unconventional way and supported her to learn to ride elephants and horses. She also took formal training in martial arts, which included shooting and fencing.
